Don, aka The Junk Man, has been a full-time buyer and seller of period antiques, upcycled/recyled treasures and other good junk for over 30 years.  He's called "The Junk Man" because items coming into the studio often look like. . . well. . .JUNK.

 

A few years ago, Kelly, aka The Chick, joined to help with marketing and "girlie stuff."

 

Don started by selling period lighting and hardware along with refinished furniture.  But when the Shabby Chic phase hit, he started painting furniture and never looked back.

 

Paint not only rejuvenates a piece but also allows poetic license. Bun feet on a Victorian Dresser? Not period correct but why not?
